Reunión Técnica Agropuelma con Grupo de Transferencia Tecnológica de Tomates Limache

El pasado Jueves 30 de junio Agropuelma Ltda. realizó un Encuentro con el Grupo de Transferencia Tecnológica (GTT) de Tomates de la Comuna de Limache, en la Trattoria la Coca. Esta reunión contó con la participación del Asesor de Cultivos Forzados Hernan Allende y de 11 reconocidos agricultores de la ciudad de Limache.
El encuentro tuvo como finalidad el intercambio de experiencias entre el GTT y Agropuelma Ltda. en los diferentes aspectos del manejo del cultivo del Tomate. Para comenzar con el intercambio, el Gerente Técnico de Agropuelma Mauricio Arratia realizó una Charla sobre “ Utilización de productos en base a Silicio en el Cultivo del tomate bajo plástico”, donde se trató de la experiencia recopilada con productos a base de silicio, por su alta gama de beneficios para el cultivo como :
- Mejor post-cosecha.
- Menor incidencia de enfermedades producidas por hongos.
- Reducción de daños por ataque de insectos.
- Aminorar los daños por heladas.
- Disminuir los daños por efectos de radiación solar.
La estrategia utilizada consta principalmente de 2 productos, SILIKON (Ácido ortho-silícico) para aplicación foliar y NUTRAFOIL SOIL SILIKATE ( Silicato de Potasio) para aplicación vía riego. Se revisó varias experiencias realizadas por el Departamento Técnico de Agropuelma, con ambos productos en varios tipos de cultivos como uva de mesa, cerezos, nogales, lechugas, etc.
